As part of our transition from Library to Learning Commons, we made our collection more current and relevant by discarding old and unused items.

HELP US REPLENISH OUR COLLECTION!
This is a great opportunity to buy your summer reading books and/or gifts for family and friends. You can even buy books for our school!
20% of all sales will be given back to our school to purchase new books for the Learning Commons. We have a Suggestion Box to help us determine what the staff and students would like added to our collection.
Please shop at Chapters on May 26 to help make this fundraiser a success.

***Please note that fun lunch for May 27, 2016 has been changed to Thursday, May 26, 2016 due to the field trips on the 27th. Orders must be placed before Saturday, May 21, 2016.***
Track and field tryouts will be starting NEXT WEEK, mostly during lunch times.

Over the next week or so, expect the look of our website to change! The District is migrating all of their school websites to a new platform so that the look and menu items are more consistent. Several other schools have already made the leap and our time is coming up soon. We are currently working to move the information from the old site to the new one.
It may take a while for all of the information to be transferred properly, but please continue to visit the site for information such as newsletters, calendars, sports teams, and updates!
PLEASE REMEMBER TO PURCHASE THE YEARBOOKS AS THE DEADLINE IS FAST APPROACHING.
It is priced at $32 and can be paid online or by cash or cheque at the front office.
EXTENDED DATE!!! The satisfaction survey deadline has now been extended to May 15, 2016!
Ascension of Our Lord parents are asked to participate in the upcoming Parent Satisfaction Survey, which all Calgary Catholic School District schools ask their parent populations to participate in. An online version of this survey will be open from April 18 to May 15, 2016. We will be sending out the survey link when it becomes available prior to April 18.
This parent survey allows the individual schools and the district to gain input from parents regarding the quality of education at their child(ren)’s school. School principals and the district use the results of this survey to plan and improve education in the district.
The survey involves nine (9) questions: Two are specific to your child’s school, three relate to our Catholicity, and four to supporting success for all students.
There are also opportunities for brief comments.
