Message from Administration |

This year’s district faith theme “Love kindness” also comes to us in God’s commandment to “Love one another as I have loved you.” The true meaning of this theme is reflected in how we think and speak kindly of others, treat them with respect and foster positive community relationships. Our main 2014 advent project “Warm Feet, Warm Hearts” was selected to meet the needs of the many homeless people in Calgary/Chestermere. Our advent project asks our students, staff and parents to fill a sock with basic necessities and bring them in to the school for distribution to the Emergency Shelter before December 18. Our goal is to collect 1000 socks! We will keep you up to date with the progress on our web site. So far this year students and staff have supported “Volley for the Cure”, “Movember”, Veteran’s Food Bank and the honoring of our veterans at the cemetery. As always we can be proud of the great students and their commitment to caring for others. For more information, please see this month’s Newsletter.
